I have Written this message to fans asking the quistion where can i find the version of in time heard in the movie bill and teds excellent adventure ive seen previous posts to this topic and i belieave i can fill in the blanks.
A few months ago i contacted robbi on myspace asking the same quistion where can i find this track, robbi was very helpful a huge thank you to you robbi for that, but he couldnt help me in my search for it. A user on youtube named phazebak is also conducting the same search he asked stevie salas for those who dont know he was the one that performed that awsome guitar solo ,stevie told him that the whole thing is improvised untuil the director was satisfied and that was the last he heard of it ,phazebak then contacted Sue Shifrin the writer of the song she said that the version we are looking for is scarce amoung the writers and the only people who may know are Bob Marlette and the director of the film phazebak is awaiting the final answer to his quistion to salas which was Did you improvise the whole solo ? and if he did he is then goinng to contact the Bob and see if he can access the movie archives for that song so now it is just a waiting game.
But i also found a link to the first part of salas guitar solo on imeem http://www.imeem.com/people/JC4pGIX/music/G-GdD2p3/robbi_robb_in_time/ that is if anyone is interested and wants to finish it its not the full version of the one in the film only the start.
